Does he like me?what can i talk to him about?

There is this guy in school that i like but i don't know if hee likes me...i am quite shy when it comes to flirting with boys but i do talk to them and i have some best friend boys...I talk to this guy in school but it will only be a few words like hi...etc....i smile at him an he smiles back with a really big smile....when he talks to me he smiles and makes me laugh but i often don't have the chance to talk to him as we are always in cl...i speak to him on msn and he replys an we get on quite well...i have liked him for a while ...he sometimes approaches me in school but because our friends are there they are always involved.....could he like me?and what should i do?
