Rome sacked in 472 Ad?

I saw recently that Ricimer, the Gothic general, sacked Rome in 472 AD, and this sack was traditionally credited with destroying the monuments in Rome. Wikipedia mentions this, but there are are articles only on the sacks of Rome in 410 AD, 455 AD, and in the 6th century. What exactly happened in 472 AD, and is it considered by experts to be a major sack of the city?
