Sweet 16th birthday party idea?

this year, i was planning on having a party because, after all, its my sweet sixteen! but, i don't want to make it a big deal or anything but rather just hang out with a couple of friends. any suggestions on anything fun/interesting in san francisco? besides going to fisherman wharf or pier 39. thanks! and any restaurant suggestions?
