Why is my new chimney leaking i just put in a heat reclaimer would this have anything to do with it?

The heat reclaimer may be lowering the flue gas temperature to the point where it condenses in the chimney. It will get worse as the weather gets colder. Heat reclaimers are usually illegal (code violation)
